Terms of Service

By accessing or using Smogle, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Smogle allows users to upload cover art or photos and automatically generate correctly-sized, platform-specific assets (banners, profile images) for various social media and streaming platforms, with editing tools including cropping, text overlays, logos, and visual effects.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You retain ownership of any images, text, logos, and other content you upload to Smogle (“Your Content”). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and use any content you submit, including photos, logos, and any third-party material. You agree not to upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, or that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of any third party.

Smogle offers a free tier with watermarked exports, and paid options (one-time project unlock, monthly subscription, annual subscription) that remove the watermark, as described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by a trusted third-party payment processor. By purchasing a subscription or unlock, you agree to their terms in addition to these Terms.

The one-time project unlock removes the watermark for the current image within that project. If the source image is replaced, the project will require a new unlock to remove the watermark again, unless covered by an active subscription.

Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: One-time project unlocks are non-refundable, as the watermark is removed immediately upon purchase. Subscription payments are non-refundable, but you may cancel anytime to avoid future charges. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at smogleapp@gmail.com and we’ll review it on a case-by-case basis.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all of your requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smogle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
